"Olona by bicycle" excursion

Excursions to discover the Olona by bicycle return. Easy routes suitable for everyone, even families with children, along paths and cycle paths in the Pineta Park or in the Insubria Olona parks. Below are all the appointments! 

The average duration of each outing is approximately 2.5 hours.

The excursions proposed by "Olona by bicycle" are free of charge thanks to funding from the Pineta Park and Insubria-Olona Parks, but to visit some places along the route an entrance fee is charged to participants.

Friday 28 July 2023 - From the Valley to the Pine Forest 

The hike includes a tour through the pine forest of Appiano Gentile, touching on the church of S.Bartolomeo al Bosco and Tradate.

Friday 11 August 2023 - Along the railway 

The excursion is by bike from Castiglione to the Mulino del Trotto and back.

Friday 25 August 2023 - From Monastero to Monastero

The cycling tour will visit the Monastery of Torba and Cairate.

Saturday 9 September 2023 - The two Venegono

Cycling between the two villages, the churches, the seminary.

Saturday 23 September 2023 - Heritage sites

Bike tour from Torba to Casa Macchi and back.

Saturday 7 October 2023 - Rugareto and Cislago

A walking tour to discover the southernmost belt and S. Maria della Neve. 

  • event start - 02:30 p.m. 

Saturday 21 October 2023 - The mills 

A walking tour to visit the Bosetti and San Vitale mills in Fagnano Olona, to the church of San Vitale in Gorla Maggiore. 

  • event start - 10:30 a.m.
