Situated on a hill overlooking the city of Varese, the Palace Grand Hotel is an oasis of peace immersed in the park of Colle Campigli.

Just a few minutes from Milan Malpensa Airport, the Grand Hotel has 112 comfortable rooms, 6 meeting rooms for meetings, conventions or temporary offices, a welcoming wellness centre, a panoramic restaurant seating over 200 and an American bar with a cool summer terrace.

At first a stronghold of defense near the borders of the Duchy of Milan, the Visconti Castle of San Vito of Somma Lombardo became a noble residence only in 1448, when the brothers Francesco and Guido Visconti settled there.

After various partitions, the property was reunified and then donated, in 1997, to the Visconti di San Vito Foundation, which today deals with the maintenance and perpetuation of the memory of the castle.
