The “Campagna Amica” Farmers’ Market, where local farmers and growers sell their products directly to the public, is held on a weekly basis:
Varese is distinguished by a rustic and genuine cuisine, but rich in imagination. There are many producers in the area who supply restaurants and farmhouses with local raw materials, to promote a 0 km cuisine based on traditional products such as rice, lake fish, game and polenta.
Ugly and good, polenta and bruscitt, rustisciada, Varese dessert and Luinese cheese are just some of the typical products or dishes of the area that you can taste by choosing your favorite gastronomic tour.
Nel mese di maggio, torna l'attesissima "Fiera dell'Asparago" di Cantello, giunta quest’anno alla 76^ edizione.

ore 18.00 Incontro "A Scuola con gli asparagi"
Sabato 14 maggio
dalle ore 16.30: mercatino artigianale e dei sapori presso il palatenda – bar paninoteca
dalle ore 18.30: apertura servizio ristorazione (Risotto con punte di Asparagi, asparagi di Cantello alla Bismarck, grigliate miste di carne con costine)
