From Friday 31st March to Sunday 2nd April 2023 | Buguggiate
After the great success of last year's exhibition at the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso in Leggiuno, artist Valerio Perino will exhibit his works in Buguggiate inside the Oratory of San Giovanni Battista from Friday 31st March to Sunday 2nd April in the exhibition "Spazio (al) Sacro. Le icone moderne di Tempio Industriale" curated by Un Quadro di Te and Obiettivo Cultura.
Over 25 icons on display, including compositions, sculptures and images by the artist, pervaded by the Sacred Sense, oppose with their meaning the loss of values that western society is undergoing. Tempio Industriale fits into these voids and re-appropriates the marginal, everyday spaces of our existence.
The exhibition opening will be held on Friday 31 March at 4 pm. Afterwards, until 9 p.m., it will be possible to dialogue with the artist from Turin and the curators.
On Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 April, an accompanied visit to the exhibition will be provided by the organisers and the artist.
Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.
