The Christmas atmosphere will descend on the sixteenth-century Villa Della Porta Bozzolo thanks to the first edition of the Sotto l'Albero event.

A market exhibition of artisanal and food and wine excellences in which to find particular, curious and supportive Christmas gifts. Many gift ideas to experience the magic of Christmas in a unique and unforgettable way. Particular attention will be dedicated to the delights of good food with the sale and tasting of wines, collections of spices, artisan panettone, tasty regional specialities, sweets, tea and refined herbal products from Trentino, precious oils and lots of chocolate in all its forms. A section will be entirely dedicated to garden lovers with winter season plants and outdoor decorations.
And also, themed creative workshops for adults and children.

• SUNDAY 4 AND THURSDAY 8 DECEMBER - THE CELEBRATION TABLE. SPECIAL VISITS, NEW ROUTES

An unprecedented journey through period ceramics and crystals to experience Villa Della Porta Bozzolo set up for the Christmas holidays.

A special guided tour will allow you to discover the art of setting the table and the nuances of meaning that every detail can take on (from the celebration of a holiday to the display of wealth), bon ton, the eighteenth-century culinary traditions and the precious service of dishes from the Della Porta family, made at the beginning of the 19th century in Laveno, a town on Lake Maggiore famous for the production of ceramics.
An opportunity to explore, by analyzing the service of dishes with the family crest, the history of Laveno ceramics and, in particular, of Richard Ginori production, of which Villa Della Porta Bozzolo also conserves some interesting veilleuse, small cups used for keep decoctions and herbal teas warm.

• SUNDAY 4 DECEMBER 2022 AT 3.00 PM - SCENT OF CHRISTMAS

Villa Della Porta Bozzolo houses a precious and unique collection of herbal tea pots. Thanks to a special guided tour, the children, accompanied by an entertainer, will discover all the characteristics of these "strange" objects and their peculiarities. They will also be able to visit the kitchens and learn about the ancient tools and practices that were once used in the daily life of the Villa. At the end of the itinerary, the children will find the classroom set up as a small herbalist's laboratory where they will have fun mixing spices and aromas to create a perfect herbal tea that smells like Christmas. Activities for children 6-11 years. Duration: 1 hour and 30

• SUNDAY DECEMBER 11, 2022-THE NAPOLETAN "PRESEPE"

A special guided tour of Villa Della Porta Bozzolo, set up for the Christmas holidays, to discover the Neapolitan crib housed in the villa and the artistic tradition to which it belongs.

The crib was donated specifically for the villa in 2007 by the masters Giuseppe and Marco Ferrigno, heirs of the famous family workshop founded in 1836 in via San Gregorio Armeno, a historic road near Spaccanapoli overlooked by the workshops of the Neapolitan crib artisans .
The visit will allow you to discover this artistic artifact and the Neapolitan crib tradition, from its birth to its evolution through the centuries.
